Global media spotlights are shining on China as the country is embracing its most important political season to explore new policies in galvanizing its social and economic development and unleashing tremendous potential on a global scale.
As new state leaders will be elected during this year’s Two Sessions, all eyes are watching on how the new government will serve its people when taking on new mission for the goal toward a "great modern socialist country."
During the annual Two Sessions, the NPC deputies and CPPCC members are always too busy to accept interviews. But this year, CGTN has initiated a mobile studio to make the interviews possible. During a “Two Sessions On the Go” program, we simultaneously do live streaming on various social media platforms and live crosses on TV as well.

Driving en route to the Great Hall of the People aboard the “Two Sessions On the Go” mobile studio, Mo Tianquan, a CPPCC member and board chairman of Fang.com, talked to CGTN about three pressing issues in the country.
The first issue is about targeted poverty alleviation. He has participated in a 10-year program in southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to lift rural teachers and left-behind children out of poverty. He said more efforts should be made to realize China’s goal of lifting all of its poor out of poverty by 2020, and more private investment and community groups should be encouraged to join the battle against poverty.
Mo said he also cared about the situation of the property market. “I hope there will be some regulations to make the complicated process of property transactions more efficient.” China is expected to complete a regulation on property tax by 2019, and the enforcement of which will be probably in 2020. Mo said: “The demand of home buyers is still strong in first- and second-tier cities, and housing prices are hard to decline in short term. The government is expected to take more measures to rein in speculations and stabilize the property market.”
The third proposal that Mo Tianquan wants to put forward is the construction of group cities. “China is deepening its supply-side structural reform and securing a steady and healthy economic growth, the construction of group cities is one of the key solutions to achieve these two goals.” Mo added. He also illustrated Xiongan New Area as a good example for building a green and smart city, which will take over the non-capital function of Beijing.”
There are 2,158 CPPCC members this year, and nearly half of them are new ones. This is also Mo’s first term of being a member of China’s top political advisory body. He said he will try to perform his duty well in discussing the country’s political, social and economic affairs.
