The DPRK leader Kim Jong Un has toured Singapore with his unprecedented face-to-face with Donald Trump just hours away. Kim went to see the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel, accompanied by his sister Kim Yo Jong and other members of the DPRK delegation. CGTN's Miro Lu has more details about the preparations for the summit.
MIRO LU SINGAPORE Less than one day before the historic summit between US President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong Un on June 12th, Diplomats from both sides are rushing against time in a bid to narrow their differences.
Top on the agenda for tomorrow's summit is Pyongyang's complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation. Mr. Kim is likely to ask for a security guarantee and the easing of sanctions in return. Some Analysts say a peace treaty ending the Korean War may also be on the table.
Ahead of the summit, both leaders met up with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and both thanked Singapore's role in hosting the historic meeting.
