China will hold a grand gathering in Beijing's Great Hall of the People to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) at 10:00 a.m. on August 1.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will deliver a speech.
