Greek president expresses warm wishes for China’s National Day

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos expressed warm wishes to Chinese people for China’s 68th National Day.
“On behalf of the Greek people, I would like to express our warm wishes to the Chinese people for China’s National Day. I wish, we all wish, the Chinese people prosperity and success in every field,” Pavlopoulos said.
“Today, peace is so valuable, because the times are difficult. We have to remember – in line with Chinese philosophy – that the peoples’ creativity and prosperity comes only through peace,” Pavlopoulos said, adding that Greece is happy to cooperate with China and favors the new Silk Road.
