Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Pandjaitan, Thursday in Beijing. Pandjaitan had said prior to the trip that both countries have already OVERCOME their difficult past and Indonesia is ready to join China in the "Asian Century". Wang Yi welcomed the comment and possible high-level meetings later.

WANG YI CHINESE FM "Indonesia is a regional power whose relationship we always value. We're natural partners and we believe both countries are ready to see bilateral ties advance to an even higher level."
