Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov says Moscow will consider supporting a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Syria, as long as it did not cover fighters from ISIL and other terror groups.
SERGEY LAVROV RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTER "We are prepared to look at the (UN) resolution which is being proposed, but we have put forward a concise formulation which would state that the ceasefire would not under any circumstances extend to ISIS, Jabhat al Nusra, and those groups which cooperate with them, which are carrying out systematic shelling of residential areas of Damascus."
