China has become a hot spot for Virtual Reality (VR) thanks to two years of explosive domestic growth, roaring ahead of most countries in the development and application of the cutting-edge technology.
VR showrooms have turned from a mere concept to a practical technology that helps real estate developers save time and cost for maximum return.
ConductorVR, a Chinese company focused on VR technology development, started to expand its business to VR real estate in 2014.
In 2015, The company launched a product that provides buyers VR tours "in the house" they are interested in purchasing.
"I found that VR house checks are most likely to create cash flow and gain profit. So I had an initial plan: developing a product that can be used as a tool for marketing," said Zeng Ziyuan, CEO of ConductorVR.
Grand events have also started to use VR technologies. The 2017 CCTV Spring Festival Gala inventively adopted VR live-streaming technology.
LETINVR was responsible for making the VR live-streaming content for the Gala.

VR video content is mainly presented through smartphone headsets. However, with VR content becoming richer and more diversified, the performance of smartphones began to hinder the improvement of the quality of VR images.
Sun Wenbo, CEO of LETINVR, believes the situation will improve considerably in two to three years, greatly benefiting the production of VR content.
"Currently, limited by the definition of smart phone screens and the bandwidth of Internet, VR is unable to create an excellent C-end user experience," said Sun.
"However, in the next two to three years, with the application of gigabit Internet connection and the development of 5G, the infrastructure will be greatly improved. By then, users can watch high-quality VR videos at a low cost."
