The Chinese Consul General in New York says China's diplomacy has entered a new era. Consul General Zhang Qiyue says the country's interdependence with the rest of the world means all sides need to find real solutions to problems rather than exercising a Cold War mentality. CGTN Senior Correspondent Tian Wei spoke to the ambassador at the Two Sessions. She said that despite of recent TALK of a possible "trade war" with the United States, she sees pressure from Washington as a bargaining strategy.
