The 12th NPC revoked, in accordance with the law, the qualifications of 45 deputies to the 12th NPC elected by the Liaoning Provincial People’s Congress for bribing voters, and has drawn on lessons from the voting bribery case when organizing and guiding the election of deputies to the 13th NPC to ensure honest elections, according to the report delivered at the ongoing NPC session on Sunday by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
