WANG MENGZHEN BEIJING "Well, I just can't wait to introduce my hometown Chongqing to everyone, the youngest municipality in China. The gate is inspired by the most spectacular of the Three Gorges where mountains, gorges and rivers all meet each other. And through these icons behind me, we've arrived at the center of the Chongqing garden. That is the park, with terraced fields, flowers and also lakes showing the greener development of Chongqing's spacious rural areas in recent years. So, this is the garden on a beautiful sunny day, but it's worth visiting again on a rainy day since the view could be totally different and I came on one of these days. 

Here's the traditional residential architecture nestled on the hillside since over 70 percent of the city is covered by mountains. It has now become part of our collective memory for all our locals. And since Chongqing is the birthplace of hotpot, we can see decorations like stoves and dishes here. Standing here and listening to the rhythm of the falling rain, makes you a local."
