China's Foreign Ministry has responded to new tarrifs from the US, saying it will protect its legitimate interests if necessary. President Donald Trump is expected to unveil up to 60 billion US dollars in new tariffs on Chinese imports by Friday.
HUA CHUNYING CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRY SPOKESPERSON "China does not want to fight a trade war with anyone. But if anyone forces us to fight, we will neither be scared nor hide. In the end, if the United States takes actions that harm Chinese interests, then China will have to take resolute and necessary steps to respond and protect our legitimate interests."
