Staff at Dongguan Railway Station in southern China found a silhouette of a train commuter on the X-ray monitors on Sunday at the height of the Lunar New Year festival travel rush.
Actually, travelers are forbidden to enter the X-ray scanning machines due to their harmful radiation.
After being told that all the belongings need to be checked by the security, a lady decided not to part with her bags and entered the machine, apparently worried that her bags might be taken away at the security checkpoint.
Astonished staff immediately halted the machine.
As the X-ray image reflected, the lady stooped to fit in the machine, still wearing her high-heels.
The bizarre picture and the footage from the scanner soon went viral on social media in China, stirring debate about radiation and security. Some people felt sympathy for the woman because of the fear of losing her belongings.

The travel rush started on February 1 and will end on March 12, with about 2.98 billion trips expected to be made.
Migrant workers all make their way home to see their families and to take precious gifts for them.
“It doesn’t matter who you are, we all return home. You don’t have a choice,” said Mai Haihun, a migrant worker whose family is in a rural area in southern Guangdong Province, near the border with Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
