Rent the Runway bid us Happy April Fool’s Day with the introduction of fake couture on tap for dogs. And the fashion rental site’s production values were high!
The popular delivery site put up faux canine couture Saturday with a link that urged users to “Go Fetch.” The service teased outfits to match human owners, for day or night. There was a checked button-down and a bow tied tuxedo shirt, for the only plus one you’ll ever need. It even included some testimonials from satisfied, four-legged customers.
Luey the chihuahua gushed that the plush lining of her pink raincoat was “softer than my favorite chew toy.” A pit bull mix, Renegade, suggested we check out his pecs.
Coinciding with Easter this year, Sunday is the day of pranks.
