Russia Mall Fire: A court in Kemerovo hears case against mall staff

Still in Russia. The staff of a shopping mall in Kemerovo are facing years in jail for the deadly fire there.
The mall's technical director was arrested along with a security guard -- who is believed to have turned off the fire alarms.
The guard however told the court the alarm did go off, and also confirmed the mall's public announcement system hadn't worked for weeks.
Investigators say the emergency exits were locked, blocking evacuations. Authorities think a short circuit may have sparked the fire which killed 64 people, most of them young children.
