Mutual influences between China and US

‍The "Made in America" products are slowly making inroads in China and becoming an indispensable part of Chinese lives. Meanwhile, “Made in China” products have already become an integral part of many countries, including the United States. 

American products indispensable to Chinese 

A considerable number of Chinese claim that they couldn't imagine what life might be like without their daily dose of American products. These are the target customers of Amazon, an American e-commerce giant that entered China in 2014. 
Nearly 41 million people in China are avid online shoppers who purchase foreign products, and a majority of them have started such shopping in the last two years. 
The penchant for American product can be assessed from the fact that Starbucks in China is the fastest-growing market outside of the United States regarding store count. The brand launches more than 500 stores annually in China. The numbers speak volumes about the Chinese people fondness for coffee. 
Not only coffee but also US electronic products such as iPhone have become one of most sought-after gadgets in China. 

Increasing Chinese influence in the US 

Made in China products also influences shoppers in the US. 
Wandering around in Washington DC, we could find stores that have their names in Mandarin. 
However,  millions of Americans do not realize their heavy reliance on Chinese goods. 
Millions of American use Chinese cellphones, and a majority of popular apps they frequently use are developed in China.  
Americans are increasingly using a Chinese app, Mobike to rent bikes. 
Mobike recently started a pilot program in Washington DC with just 200 bikes.
