China’s logistics industry grow on booming e-commerce & delivery service

China's logistic sector has soared in June, reaching 55.8%, according to the latest report from the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP).
The driving factors behind its fast expansion? A booming e-commerce and delivery service.
Food, electronics devices and appliances are the main contributors. The mid-year sale, so called 6.18, was the main factor of the increase in sales. RRS, a major logistics companies in China’s northern region, says its workload surged more than 10 fold during the 6.18 blow-out sale.
Analysts say that the ever-growing demand of e-commerce is playing an increasingly significant role in the whole logistics industry. “It also reflects that the overall structure of China's economy is undergoing a profound transformation,” said Cai Jin, deputy director of the CFLP.
