An eye-popping floating art museum is seen in Anlong County, southwest China’s Guizhou Province. /CNS Photo
Suspended from the cliff of 165 meters high, the architecture covers a gross area of 1,350 square meters and features two floors with the first level serving as a convention center, and the second level as an art museum. /CNS Photo
The facade of the museum is an arcade, and the whole exterior is made up of glass curtain wall. This kind of design allows visitors to enjoy the panoramic scenery of the hills and valleys from the top inside. /CNS Photo
At one time, the risk of a landslide caused by karst topography made it difficult for the architects to locate the site. Fortunately, the natural subsidence area which is relatively flat at the top of the cliff was found in the selecting stages, making this construction miracle come true. /CNS Photo
