Foot bridge collapses moments after woman crosses it

Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a woman making it to the other side of a foot bridge moments before it collapsed.

The incident was captured in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday.

Flood waters raged beneath the foot bridge, which was eventually swept away just seconds after the woman reached the other side of the bank.

Torrential rain hit the area since last Saturday, triggering landslides that have damaged over 3,000 hectares of cropfield.
