Further sanctions on the DPRK will not change its behavior and using them as a way of influencing the country has been "exhausted", Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
Putin, who called sanctions “useless and ineffective”, made the remarks at a press conference in the southeastern Chinese city of Xiamen after the BRICS Summit.
Putin said that Russia will discuss the DPRK issue with leaders from South Korea and Japan at the Vladivostok Forum in Russia.
