Tony and Me: Army dog in special forces troop closely bonds with handler
[]
I'm Zhu Zhixiong, a soldier from a special forces troop in the 76th Field Army group and here's my most loyal friend in the army----Tony. I felt a strong chemistry between us at first sight. After some three hundred days living with Tony, we've become the closest friends to each other, breathing together, growing up together, from a dog who just ate and slept to a reliable comrade in the special forces.
Tony and I went through so many ups and downs, overcoming a variety of difficulties in boring and tedious trainings. Once during a training, Tony suffered a muscle injury after I pushed him beyond his limit. As a trainer, I hurt with him and at the same time, took pride in each step he took to progress. With the joint efforts we've made, Tony now has an acute sense for inspections. He also traces and bites well.
Today marks the 360th day since he joined our special forces troop. I can tell from his eyes, that he's ready for another training to be a strong and loyal friend, staying by my side, fighting with me and guarding our motherland.
