Moon's trip comes roughly a week after DPRK senior official Kim Yong Nam's Russia visit. Moscow has been actively engaged in diplomacy on both sides of the Korean Peninsula. Our correspondent Dan Ashby in Moscow explained the reasons behind Russia's efforts.
