Ufa, Russia hosted the 7th BRICS Summit in 2015. Over two years later, a different sort of cultural exchange is still taking place. Ma Baolin came to Russia in 2002 for an academic exchange. He fell in love with this country, and also with a Russian woman. He brought Chinese traditional medicine to Ufa and found his second home there.
