71 confirmed dead after Russian plane crashes near Moscow

A Russian plane carrying 71 people crashed shortly after takeoff from Domodedovo Airport in the outskirts of Moscow on Sunday, Russian media reported, adding that no survivors were found after the crash.
Sputnik cited the country’s Federal Air Transport Agency saying that the 65 passengers and six crew members onboard were confirmed dead.
The plane was flying to Orsk, a city in western Russia’s Ural Mountains, and disappeared from radar two minutes after departure.

Sputnik News cited a source saying that it crashed near the village of Argunovo. 
Russian authorities have confirmed that fragments of the crashed airline have been found. 
The cause of the crash remains unclear but Russia has seen record snowfall in recent days and visibility was reportedly poor. 
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and a criminal investigation has been launched.
