A new generation of sea turtles plodded across a short stretch of sand into the warm Pacific Ocean. Guided by a natural instinct, the tiny turtles head with single-minded determination to the water. It's a race against time to protect the endangered turtles. Sayulita's turtle camp is now part of a civil association known as Red Tortuguera AC that has five similar turtle camps in different parts of Nayarit, but the camps are entirely dependent on volunteers and donations.
