Russian Embassy in Damascus comes under fire

The Russian embassy compound in Syria's capital of Damascus came under mortar fire by terrorists on Wednesday, TASS News Agency reported, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry said no casualties have been reported so far.

Two shells crashed on the premises of the Russian diplomatic mission and two more fell outside the perimeter fence, according to the ministry.
