The CPC's Central Committee has also released a plan on deepening reform of the Party and state institutions. The reforms are aimed at improving the Party's overall leadership and optimizing its organizational structure.
As part of the plan, the National Supervision Commission will be established, while the Ministry of Supervision and the National Bureau of Corruption Prevention will be abolished.
The CPC's Organization Department will be responsible for the management of civil servants, with the State Administration of Civil Service being scrapped.
Meanwhile, the Publicity Department will take over from the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
China Central Television, China National Radio, and China Radio International will be integrated into a state radio and television administration, and will be under the leadership of the publicity department.
