Sixteen sets of lanterns have been put up in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province to welcome the Chinese Year of the Rooster, which will begin on January 28, 2017. The lanterns are designed in the shape of traditional Chinese items, like the Chinese lucky knot, the ancient Chinese coin and the Chinese character of “福” which is pasted on almost every door during the Spring Festival to predict a year with good fortune.
