Looking China is a short film series made by a group of young film directors from over 20 countries. They traveled to various places across China, making films and exploring Chinese culture with the help of students from local universities.
Bakar Cheaqezishvili from Georgia State University in the United States made a film about Alice, a tour guide who taught herself English to introduce the wonderful scenery and culture of China to foreigners.
She is also an ordinary mother who cares deeply about her daughter. She tries her best to get everything ready for her girl, both financially and spiritually.
Alice has a very rich inner world. She reads books, listens to music, dances, and goes to the theater. Check out the video and discover how incredible Alice is.
