At least 18 people have been killed after a bus carrying more than 40 passengers plunged into the Black Sea in southern Russia's Krasnodar region Friday morning, Reuters reported.
The bus was carrying construction workers from their shift building a pier for the Tamanneftegaz oil company in the Taman port when the accident happened.
The incident was likely caused by a failure with the vehicle's braking system, said the Oteko Portservice company, which runs the shipment facility.
An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
