Chen Long powers into BWF Super series China Open final

Rio Olympics champion Chen Long Saturday ousted his teammate Shi Yuqi to reach the semi-finals at the BWF Super series China Open in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, leaving him as the only Chinese player in the men's singles draw.
Chen was looking to keep his run going when the two-time world champion faced South Korea's Son Wan-ho in the last four.
Chen Long in red and Son Wan-ho got into a tight battle close to the net until Son went deep and Chen defeated with a smash that made him the game 21-17.

But the South Korean turned the tables in the second and got a lucky off the net to claim the game 21-10.
The decider was all Chen who made a huge lead 20-7, and he was going to close it out with an easy overhead to complete his three-game victory in 71 minutes.
Next up for the Chinese is world number one Viktor Axelsen from Denmark in the final.
