Man 'sets bus alight' in east China

A fire on a bus was allegedly started deliberately by a man in Nanchang, east China's Jiangxi Province, at around 2:30 p.m. local time (0530GMT) on Tuesday.

Photos posted on social media platform Weibo showed heavy smoke pluming from the bus, but all passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported.

According to several local media reports, the man suspected of starting the fire died in the blaze.

A further investigation is underway.
