Meanwhile, the Egyptian Armed Forces are starting to welcome foreign troops in preparation for the 2018 Bright Star Games. The US founded this routine military drill with Egypt to enhance common military engagement in the region. 22 countries are participating this year. Once again, here's Adel EL Mahrouky.

The Egyptian Armed Forces announced the Arrival of US troops and military hardware this week, in preparations for the 2018 Bright Star Military Exercises. In Egypt's biggest Military base, Mohamed Naguib, allocated near the Egyptian Northern Coast, the two weeks long international drill will take place starting September 8. 800 US troops will join this year's War Games, it's more than double its participation in 2017.

Most the wars the United States engaged in, whether it's in Afghanistan or other places in the region have failed. Bright star gives it peaceful engagement with regional armies, like Egypt who've been quite efficient in combating terrorism. TheUS is one of the world's biggest arms manufacturers, yet it gets more experiences from how others used its arms."

The exercises include ground, Marine, Air and Special forces from nine countries. UK, France Italy and Greece join from Europe with Arab Participation from Saudi Arabia, UAE and Jordan. Canada Lebanon, Iraq, India, Pakistan and Nine other African Countries have been invited to Monitor the drills.

Considering the participating countries and the supervising nations. It's a great effort produced by the Egyptian Armed forces, that once impressed the world in the 1973 War and is now hosting the world in the biggest military games in the Middle East."

Bright Star began in October 1980, after Egypt signed its 1979 peace deal with Israel. The drill aims to standardize military terms, to help in multinational military operations across the world. One of the main focuses this year is to create joint forces in combating terrorism.
