DPRK leader Kim Jong Un has expressed satisfaction over a Pyongyang delegation's visit to South Korea. Upon the group's return, Kim said it's important to take the advantage of the Olympics to create a good environment for dialogue and consolidate the outcomes achieved by the two sides. Meanwhile, US Vice President Mike Pence told the press that the US is open to direct talks with the DPRK. Officials say the US will continue its campaign of "maximum pressure" until a pragmatic step is taken by the DPRK toward the denuclearization of the peninsula.
