Hong Kong residents queue up for PLA’ s Garrison Open day

Hundreds of Hong Kong residents waited for hours in queues overnight to receive free tickets to visit the barracks of the PLA's Hong Kong Garrison, opened from July 8th to 10th.
The heavy rain did not dampen people’s excitement. “I came here last night with a tent and queued overnight,” a Hong Kong resident said.
For this year’s PLA's Open Day, Liaoning aircraft carrier, namely China’s first aircraft carrier will be shown, with only 36,000 tickets made available.
The PLA's Open Day has become a popular event in Hong Kong, especially with military fans and parents who wish to inspire their children.
