Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi says China has always called for a political solution to the Syrian conflict issue. Wang made these remarks during a joint briefing with Syrian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Walid Mualem on Tuesday. CGTN reporter Su Yuting has more.

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that the US should change the practice of extreme pressure, adding that any unilateralism is not based on international law. It can not solve problems, but create greater crises."
