China to ‘fully implement UN resolutions on DPRK’

China is committed to “fully and strictly enforce UN Security Council resolutions on the DPRK,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his British counterpart Boris Johnson over a phone call on Friday.
According to a statement on the Chinese Foreign Ministry's website, Johnson complimented China's positive contribution to solving the Korean Peninsula issue and expressed grave concern over the escalated crisis, adding that the parties concerned should seek effective resolution through dialogue and negotiation.
Wang called on stakeholders to make a positive response to China's "dual-track" approach to solving the Korean Peninsula issue, which is contributive to curbing the escalated crisis and reopening the six-party talks, the statement said.
