We head over to South Korea, for the Winter Paralympics. China's mixed wheelchair curling squad, have been on a roll, picking up wins in their first five matches. But the team that finished fourth at the last Games, would see their winstreak halted at the hands of the defending champions from Canada.  
China lead 5-3 but Canada steal four in the sixth end, and take a 7-5 advantage. Off to the eighth and Canada leading 8-5, Wang Haitao misses this take out, and that leads to him conceding as China drop their first match of the PyeongChang Games.
Over on the snow, China's flag bearer at the opening ceremony Peng Yuanyuan finishes in ninth in the women's 15km free standing. And China's Du Haitao was 13th in the men's 20km Free Standing, Ihor Reptyukh of Ukraine wins that race in 44 minutes 52.04 seconds.
And China's snowboard-cross team established two years ago make their debut at the Paralympics. Four competitors participating in the SB-UL and SB-LL2 move into the last 16. They are unable to advance past that stage, but they do make history by competing at the event.
