According to the Center for China and Globalization (CCG)more than 4.58 million Chinese students studied overseas between 1978 to 2016. The growth rates of international students in the UK and the US declined last year for the first time, due to the economic, immigration and visa policies of those countries. But there was major growth in China, Australia and Canada in terms of receiving international students.
