Dubbed "the very first artist and lifestyle leader in dining table art in China" by some mainstream Chinese media, Mao Xuelei is a young designer who sees the dining table as a stage for art.
For Mao Xuelei,  her interest and talent in art began when she was very young. At first, she was fascinated by colors. While studying movies and stage plays in college, stage art attracted her deeply. After graduation, she chose to go to Saint Martin Institute to study modern art. It's an "obsession with art" that keeps her moving forward on this road.

Before founding her own brand specializing in dining table art, Mao Xuelei was in charge of public relations and marketing for a top French silverware luxury brand in China. It was her love and passion for this job that drove her to develop interest in dining table aesthetics.

Dining table is not only a kitchen accessory

Mao believes that the dining table can be a stage – a collection of pieces that are the perfect interpretation of one’s home style. "The ultimate purpose of the dining table art is awakening a human's love for life and gratitude to life," Mao said in an interview. "People say that the universal language of the world is music. In fact, I think that there might be a day that the dining table art can also become a new universal language in the world," she added.
