Barcelona has set a Spanish league record of 39 consecutive games unbeaten after a 2-1 victory over Valencia to continue its march to the domestic title on Saturday.
Suarez gave Barca the lead after 15 minutes, meeting a sublime outside-of-the-foot pass from former Liverpool team mate Philippe Coutinho and scoring with one touch from close range.
Club-record signing Coutinho later delivered an out swinging corner which Samuel Umtiti headed in to make it 2-0 in the 51st minute.

Captain Dani Parejo pulled back a goal for third-placed Valencia by squeezing an 87th-minute penalty under Barca goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, but the Catalans withstand an exciting final spell to set a La Liga record of 39 games undefeated to move one step closer to another title.
The victory moves Barca 14 points clear of Atletico Madrid, who will host Levante later tonight. Valencia are still in third place, but now only one point ahead of Real Madrid. Los Blancos are expected to move past them when they visit cellar dwellers Malaga later today.
