A New York-based architecture company Oiio recently unveiled its latest travel concept, aimed at improving transportation in Los Angeles. The firm designed a new form of transport for Los Angeles, which looks like a bubble cabins passing around on wheelbases that could follow roads and climb up buildings. /VCG Photo
The concept was created for the Developer Challenge 2017 LA Auto Show, which required the participants to create a future transportation method for a congested city such as LA. /VCG Photo
According to the reason for the project statement, Los Angeles is notorious for its private cars that use too many resources for too little effect. All the wastes lead to a reasonable question: what if we were able to dissect a working car into working components (the Engine, the Cabin, and the Trunk) which could be utilized according to given circumstance? /VCG Photo
So the bubble-like cabins are possibly able to own only the cabin in the future LA city, and through AI centrally controlled circulation, they could create a temporary assembly-unit, which serves exact needs on demands, no more and no less. /VCG Photo
