One dead, two injured in NW China's three-vehicle collision

One person was killed and two others severely injured after three vehicles collided in Tongxin county, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Sunday morning.

The accident occurred at around 9:40 a.m. local time. The three vehicles involved in the deadly crash included a truck carrying coals, a car carrier trailer, and a tank truck.

The driver of the tank truck died at the scene. His vehicle was carrying methyl chloride – a colorless flammable gas used a refrigerant.

Rescue operation is still underway.
