Zhu, who was about six weeks pregnant at the time, was then caught on camera collapsing to the ground in apparent pain.
According to Zhu, she enraged the mother of a 4-year-old after telling the child not to move his arms in preparation for a transfusion jab.
Following a spat with the exasperated mother, who reportedly verbally abused her after the youngster screamed in pain as she removed adhesive tape from his hand, the nurse was then kicked in the abdomen, leading to signs of a possible miscarriage.
The 38-year-old veteran medic was also diagnosed with soft tissue injuries on her stomach and scalp.
After the assault, Fang and her husband, Xu Lianglu, visited the hospitalized Zhu. But instead of extending apologies, Xu reportedly claimed that Zhu had nothing to complain about as someone who works in the service industry, the nurse was quoted as saying by Chutian Metropolis Daily.

As Fang was detained over the attack, her husband, who was later identified as the head of a local urban management bureau, was dismissed for not restricting the suspect as well as making the inappropriate remarks as a Communist Party of China (CPC) member, who is expected to act with integrity and self-discipline, Chutian Metropolis Daily reported, citing the county’s Party committee.
