Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan met with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, on Wednesday, pledging to firmly support the ICRC humanitarian cause. Established in 1863, the ICRC operates worldwide, and ensures humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of violence, war or otherwise. Our anchor Tian Wei recently sat down with Maurer.
