Leading companies from China, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia and Indonesia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the joint development of smart cities and urban technology on Tuesday in Beijing.
The signing of MoU is in line with the China-led Belt and Road Initiative, under which the six countries agreed to strengthen cooperation in urban and economic developments through technological research and advancements.
“Every country, including China, is dedicated to the creation of these high-tech cities where the need for innovation will open doors for new business models and opportunities, and Tunghsu’s industrial layout is in line with this emerging trend,” said Li Quannian, executive vice president of Tunghsu Group.
A total of five framework agreements were signed between participating corporations and Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology, a China-based high-tech display manufacturer and investment engine.
Tunghsu also signed its first overseas order of its new product – graphene cooling LED light – with Japan’s real estate developer and manufacturing giant Okura & Co. Ltd.
