Few would expect that more than 80 percent of the four-stringed musical instrument of the violin family sold on international markets are the products of some farmer-turned violin makers in Queshan County in central China's Henan Province. Violin makers in Queshan County contributed 40 percent of products in China and over 70 percent of the middle-end and high-end products that eventually find their way to overseas market.
