Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is visiting China from Dec. 3 to 7. His packed schedule leans heavily on trade and cultural exchanges.
On Monday morning, Trudeau met and talked with a panel of veteran Chinese travelers who are familiar with Canada. In his talk, Trudeau told the audience about the charms of Canada, offering his own tips to get the best of the country.
To truly experience Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau had these suggestions for future Chinese visitors. He also suggested that one needs to visit the Great White North more than just one time to cover all that.
The top Canadian experiences recommended by Trudeau include:
1. Measure yourself against the nature, go hiking in Canada's diverse landscapes.
2. For vintage shopping, head for Kensington Market, Toronto.
3. For food, go for lobster. One of his most memorable meals was one of lobster, steak and local beer.
Marking the 2018 China Canada Year of Tourism, the seasoned travelers from both sides also told CGTN about their choices of must-haves in Canada and China.

Liu Yuxing said her favorite food in Canada is lobster and hotpot is something one just can't miss in China.
