It's the second day of the Chinese New Year, and one tradition is for married women to visit their parents' homes, while others spend the day attending temples and fairs.
In Hebei Province, thousands of people have gathered at a grand temple fair, where food markets and performances are being held. Down in Guizhou Province, another festival has been set up at a film and television ground. There, people are taking part in sugar painting and cultural folk art shows. Over in Kunming, a holiday parade drew thousands of people at the city's World Expo Park. The famous Chinese dragon dance was put on display, while folk dances were performed by children.
