A blue moon is supposed to be uncommon, but tonight, another one is shining bright, attracting many to look up into the sky.

This one is coming right after January's rare sighting of a super blue blood moon. The Chinese have a special affinity for the moon, with it being the theme for many songs, movies, operas, poems and plays. In traditional Chinese culture, a full moon represents the idea of unity and harmony. The next one blue moon is expected to occur in October 2020.
