China's top snooker player and world No.3 Ding Junhui is expecting his first child in August.
The news was revealed by CCTV anchor Zhang Bin earlier this week and confirmed later on social media by Ding who married Zhang Yuanyuan in 2014.
He and some other Chinese sports folk were invited to participate in the recent Boao Forum for Asia annual conference 2018 to discuss topics such as the development of sports industry and the growth of ice and snow sports in China.

Ding, 31, began playing snooker at the age of 9 and rose to international prominence in 2002 after winning the Asian Under-21 Championship. He achieved his first major professional successes in 2005 when he won back to back the China Open and the UK Championship.
A winner of 13 ranking events, Ding lives in the northern English town of Sheffield during the snooker season and will be hoping to win the Betfred World Championship for the first time in the coming weeks.
